Arranged for the first time in 2014 by Film Stockholm, STOCKmotion is a film festival that gives filmmakers of all ages the opportunity to see their films on the big screen. Our vision is for the festival to spark excitement around the moving image and reach out to and move a wide audience.
At STOCKmotion short film takes center stage as this format is gaining importance as a result of the changing media landscape: New and affordable technology has enabled more filmmakers, from pensioners to school children, to express themselves through film.
STOCKmotion welcomes you to partake in fantastic stories told by both beginners and professionals. It is also Stockholm’s regional competition for the national ’Novemberfestivalen’.
